VSTC rises from the GTX Global Ashes... sorta

http://www.visiontechnologycorp.com/index.htm

wow, a new web site is up (sorta).. even though it's not the one Edward Ovsenik, fearless leader, has on his linked-in page. (Remember, that was visLtech.com)

First thing you notice is the "home page" has all the same repurposed Gatelinx stuff about being compatible with SIP and H.323. Ed wouldn't know a SIP unless it came from a glass. And since they have no employees, developers, etc., just more perpetual BS.

But what's really interesting is what's not on the site, and where the links and contact info go. No products or technology.. no surprising for those of us who know the story. There aint nothing there.

http://visiontechnologycorp.com/products.htm
http://visiontechnologycorp.com/technology.htm

Although, it is interesting that a publicly traded company has nothing to talk about, and the "investor" link goes to pinksheets.com.

But what is truly disturbing, is the contact info.. "We thank you for your patience as we construct our new website. Please check back soon for content updates. For more information, please contact our specialist. " On the home page, Click on the link, hoping to find a "specialist" (in what I can only guess.. model trains? golf clubs? SEC violations? Jail house shower room etiquette?) and what do you get? E -mail directed to info@gtxglobal.com Hmmm.. wasn't GTX Global the OLD COMPANY? And, isnt the gtxglobal site dead and gone? Where does the contact go? hello? hello? anyone home? buehler? hello?

But wait, there's more. On the same home page, "For investor information please contact investor relations." Click on that link and.. voila.. you get e-mail to Edward Ovsenik. President... and no Investor Relations? What's next? CTO? Developer? Jail house lawyer? (my bet is on the last one) The e-mail address is e.ovsenik@visltech.com hmmmm... info to gtxglobal.com.. IR info request to visLtech.com

But what's even more interesting is.. click on the link at the bottom of the page for "Should you have other questions or concerns about these privacy policies, please contact us." This pops up an e-mail to help@visiontechnologycorp.com. hmmmm... the "specialist" is gtxglobal.com.. the IR is Ed Ovsenik at visLtech.com, but the help is visiontechnologycorp.com. 3 different roles, 3 different domains for contact info.

Oh wait.. one more.. go to the "about us" page (http://visiontechnologycorp.com/about.htm) which doesn't have any of the "real" about us info... click on e-mail and.. voila' you get an e-mail to info@gtxglobal.com. hmmmm... 4 different roles, 3 different domains to contact them.

Wait, go to the legal/privacy page (http://visiontechnologycorp.com/privacy.htm) and first notice the disturbing (perhaps I'm just being paranoid) legal info... "For Web site visitors who do not download software or establish accounts or otherwise identify themselves:If you do not sign on to our Web site, our Web server does not have access to personally identifiable information about you. It does not know your e-mail address unless you volunteer it.
Cookies We place cookies on all Web site visitor hard drives to collect aggregate information on the number of visitors to our site and the number of pages viewed.

Cookie information is used only by Vision Technology Corporation and is not provided to any other organization. It is used in aggregate for traffic analysis and to provide relevant information to our visitors. It is also used for Web site and system administration, including research and development, user analysis and business decision-making."

Scary, they be tracking those of us who are monitoring this scam and reporting it to the world and the SEC.

The only thing good about the new site, and kudos to you Ed (although I don't think you wrote it) is the tag line "Technology changes in the blink of an eye..." My view, is the only thing that changes is the look on your face when the cell mate named Snake or Bubba says you look good in those jeans. And Ed... Brecher, Ivan.. the whole lot of you scammers, will find out about that first hand soon enough.

Last little tidbit of analysis.. go to http://www.domaintools.com/ ... When you do the domain history look up... you get NOTHING. No history....

But, check out the IP look up for visiontechnologycorp.com (The IP is 82.165.130.43) And you get, hosted at that IP, 413 different web sites. These include such biggies as:

  • allstarpoker.com
  • avianflunasalspray.com
  • dragmodel.com
  • dramafreeswingers.com
  • fotodeporn.com
  • mytruckstuff.com
  • sexovideoclip.com and more.

Man, these are the kinds of sites a technology leader like VSTC, er.. Gatelinx.. um.. GTX Global should be associated with and hosted on the same servers.

VSTC, no matter what the web site says... is a SCAM.

nice work again ex-gtx. Back in May, you did a similar analysis on GTX Global and found that they were hosted with 33 other companies.

IP Address: 66.195.196.62
IP Location: - North Carolina - Monroe - Time Warner Telecom Inc
Response Code: 200
Blacklist Status: Clear (history)
SSL Cert: No valid SSL on this Host
Website Status: Active
Reverse IP: 33 other sites hosted on this server

Now, 413 companies? Man, the mighty have fallen even more.

so says poopscoop

Thanks poopscoop... just trying to fight the good fight until the SEC and FBI swoop in on whats left of this mutley group and takes them off to jail.

looks like you were right again ex-gtx. They're working hard to cover their tracks and distance themselves further from Gatelinx, PrimeTV, GTX Global, etc. What's next? You've been pretty much right on the money so far.

gotta say dude, you're pretty good at this investigating and documenting stuff. But you missed one.

Do a reverse IP look up on visLtech.com. The IP is 66.129.117.25.

Lo and behold, there are 104 companies hosted. Not surprising. But what is surprising is WHO is hosted. Scroll down the list and SMSprayer.com and SMSprayer.net.

Do a "who is" on smsprayer.com If visLtech.com is hooked in with SMSprayer, and SMS prayer is hooked in with Hagen, Leland Parker, Annette Hagen, and who knows who else, then with this "whois" and the fact that it's all the same group/IP/registration, you get further proof that Hagen is behind this whole thing... STILL.

Vizualcom (at the same street address) was the company started by Kelly Sparks, Dave Gust and the dude from the Bahamas that were trying to buy the Gatelinx assets, then amazingly (as you documented here lots of times before) were then acquired by GTX Global.

Man, dude.. you were right. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME GANG. Hagen, this Schriener dude, Ovsenik. And, they're all registered using Ivan's "webcluster" company.

What a scam!

gtxcthegangthatcantshootstraight.blogspot.com is linked to 119 other sites including...
deadhookerproject.net (are you really ASSOCIATED with this group??)
drunkdialogblog.com (like this one?)
humanlessons.com (maybe you should take a few)
letsspeakenglish.org (??)
pimp-game.com
spankboogy.com
theenlightenedmind.com (don't you wish you were!)

Do you have ANY idea what you are researching or reporting about???

What is your point?

oh Ed... or is that Ivan? Nice attempt at moral equivalency. Nice attempt at discrediting all the research, analysis, cites, facts and inside info contained herein.

The difference (and my point) is I'm not running a business that purports to be the "global leader in multi-media over IP".

The difference (and my point) is that you'd think if you were running a business, especially a publiclly traded one that has a market cap of $21.2M (and, before all the blood was out of the POS Scam it was as a high as $190M+)you'd be able to demonstrate some crdibility in your IP presence.

The difference (and my point) is I'm on a blogspot, 'tard.

It's a site, within a site, within a hosted environment, which anyone with half a brain and some duct tape would know it's a non-exclsuive environment.

Best part of the whole scam is that Peter Schriener is Hagen's best (or should I say only) friend. They were appareantly buddies back in the 1980's in California .

The "POINT" 'TARD is that (using your words) "It is a site, within a site, within a hosted environment which anyone with half a brain and some duct tape would know it's a non-exclsuive[sic][yeah, you can't proof read your own stuff!] environment." That's YOU 'tard! Most legitimate sites are as you describe. So, still, what's your point? VSTC is no more associated with the sites you mention than you are with the one's that I mentioned. Now - - who's the "'tard"?

Anyone can throw stones and tear something down with very little effort. It takes courage, hard work and lots of sweat and tears to make a really large business work. And by the way, 20 million is chicken feed in today's American businesses. Evidently rookie you haven't learned that there is much risk in life. And there are some bad people out there that are willing to take advantage of others. But there are also more that are willing to live the American Dream and maybe one day make the big time by working hard. You must have gotten stomped on big time. Just pick up the pieces and start over. Why waste your energy on this if you think it is such a looser? All of the blogging in the world will not recover a dime for you. You could be spending your time coding the next big success instead of searching the Internet for some juicy tidbit that almost no-one cares about. Yeah, almost no-one. In checking the stats, you have about 12 (yahoooooo!!!) readers. What a waste of time.

This is sad. I feel sorry for you. You need therapy. Get a life!

Mr. 9:30 pm sure sounds like Hagen. Good to see you're reading the blog. Are you inlcuded in that list of 12? I hope your pickled, steriod infested, going back to prison ass, gets a nasty sunburn down there in bahamas. should fee nice when the cuffs go back on.

"It takes courage, hard work and lots of sweat and tears to make a really large business work." BS. OH YEAH it also doesn't hurt to rip off all customers never pay debts and lie steal and cheat your way to success. A big "well done" crook.

Well, I'm gonna but in here and say it still sounds like you are. Rather than trying to understand what ex-gtx is saying you just fly of the damn handle.

This issue should be concerning for a number of reasons:
1) This is supposed to be a serious IT BUSINESS, not some e-store that someone is running in their spare time. Not only are they an IT business, they claim to be a leader and innovator in the field, running a serious application that business can rely on. One that I know from first hand knowledge puts very high demands on bandwidth and processing power on the back end. You do not get the kind of service and support running on a server with that many virtual hosts. And if you go to the webhosts, site , it also does not inspire confidence. For as little as 149 euros a month, VSTC could be hosting their site on a dedicated server... just like a real IT company... but instead they cheap out on a maximum 99 euro/month package (virtual hosting).

2) If you've ever gone out looking for a web host, you know that the majority of web hosts have fairly strict policies about what can be put on their servers. For example, the majority of web servers *explicitly forbid* adult content, and the ones that allow it typically charge more for the *ahem* privilege. Not only that, but some of the sites are of questionable legal or moral standing, such as gambling sites, snake oil nasal sprays, etc. While it is not proof, it is highly likely that who ever selected their current host would have had to be deliberately looking for a web host that would allow a certain amount of shadiness.

3) I'd love to see a public statement from the VSTC folks on why they are using a german webhost. There is nothing wrong with German webhosts, but what is interesting is that this would seem to mean that their primary back-end servers are thousands of miles from their corporate headquarters. At least that is what I'm assuming... it's entirely possible they have their own network connection at the corporate headquarters...but if so, why not host their website from there rather than germany?

If you can't see why these are concerning, I would strongly advise you to never invest in an IT business. As someone with a great deal of technology experience, the alarm bells seriously go off when I see statistics like ex-gtx has posted.

Now on to your equivalency thing....The difference between what ex-gtx is doing and what VSTC is doing is simple. He is running a blog on a blog service. (Which happens to be owned by google.) Since he is not providing any kind of high reliability service, it doesn't matter to anyone if his site is down for hours or days. His bandwidth needs are minimal since he is mostly transmitting text (as opposed to audio and video).

The needs are completely different. BTW, it sort of ruins your whole moral equivalency argument when the site you mention redirects to Google's home page.

Anyone can throw stones and tear something down with very little effort. It takes courage, hard work and lots of sweat and tears to make a really large business work. And by the way, 20 million is chicken feed in today's American businesses.

See, here's the rub. Both ex-gtx and myself were the ones doing most of the building at Gatelinx. (We don't know who each other is, but we've conversed enough to establish that we both worked there.)

I don't know about ex-gtx, but I almost lost my family due trying to build that business as a serious technology company. When I lost my job, my wife started crying tears of joy because I'd become so isolated from her and the rest of my family working 100-hour weeks. My health also suffered significantly, and it only now almost 2 years later that I have recovered from the long nights and ridiculous stress of trying to make that damn business work.

So Sally Anne, don't sit there all high and mighty and tell me that I don't know what it takes to build a business. I was there in the trenches seven days a week, damn near 24 hours a day trying to get their technology to work.

And there are some bad people out there that are willing to take advantage of others.

No shit, Sherlock. What is happening here is that ex-gtx and the other ex-gatelinx employees who post here are trying their damnedest to try and warn you and others that the Gatelinx/GTX/VSTC people are bad people.

We are doing this at non-trivial legal and physical risks.

You must have gotten stomped on big time. Just pick up the pieces and start over. Why waste your energy on this if you think it is such a looser?

I can't say anything about ex-gtx's motives. But I can speak about mine. I post here on a regular basis because I do know what the people are on the inside are like. I feel I have a moral obligation to at least try to warn others about what I know. Sort of like if you see someone about to be hit by a car, there is a moral obligation to scream "Hey, lookout a car!".

I find it really sad that you don't seem to understand that. Worse yet, you get actively hostile at the idea. Why is that?

carl, ex-gtx, dd, poopscoop, chuck, annette, ed, ivan and others (is that 12 yet?) oh yeah - 4 anonymouses.

Believe me when I say this, as someone who has gone through this on more than one occasion in my life, I CAN relate - really. Yes, we all want David Allen Hagen to go to jail (again). Be confident that the authorities are on the path - but not because of this blog. There is nothing here - really. You can't post anonymously, do "research" through the Internet and expect anyone to take your facts and make a conviction - do you? I understand carl's point, and it is a good one, that you feel compelled to warn. Maybe you feel compelled to do something but don't know what. You all sound like smart people - so - how about using this blog to bat around SERIOUS ideas to catch and put him in jail. Anyone REALLY know where he is?

It also appears that you are beating a dead horse. VSTC is not "rising" from anything - is it?

My other point (please don't misconstrue this as "actively hostile") is that you need to build something - anything for your own sanity. It will get your mind off of this terrible situation.

Seriously, you might want to see a therapist if you are having trouble dealing with this. Carl, you didn't loose your wife but I have at least one due to work. I won't do that again. Sounds like this is the first time in your life that this has happened to you? It has happened to me multiple times but I can't give up hope. Lessons are learned sometimes the hard way and we just try to make the best of it, pick ourselves up and try again. This time being a little more cautious, a little less stressed out, watching who we are associated with and putting our family first.

Good luck guys - #12 signing off.

#12,
The FUD technique "Damning With Faint Praise" can be quite effective. However, it is vitally important that you use a light touch when employing it. The whole point is to be subtle enough that people don't actually think to themselves "Gee, this person's argument must be pretty weak if they are resorting to ad hominem attacks."

Believe me when I say this, as someone who has gone through this on more than one occasion in my life, ... You can't post anonymously, do "research" through the Internet and expect anyone to take your facts and make a conviction - do you?

Strawman on at least 2 counts.

1) To the best of my knowledge, no one hear has ever said "David Hagen's going to be arrested and we're gonna do it!!!!!!"

In fact, AFAIK, ex-gtx (the only one who matters for this conversation) has never publicly stated his/her/their motives.

2) Unless you have some pipeline of information the rest of us don't, you have no way of knowing if any of us have talked to the SEC, FBI, Illuminati, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster. The idea implied through out your whole post that this is all any of the regular readers are doing simply misfires once you think about it.

I understand carl's point, and it is a good one, that you feel compelled to warn. Maybe you feel compelled to do something but don't know what. You all sound like smart people - so - how about using this blog to bat around SERIOUS ideas to catch and put him in jail. Anyone REALLY know where he is?

You acknowledge my stated motive and then ignore it, choosing to concentrate on your presumed motive. A motive which, not surprisingly, would make us seem naive, petty and juvenile if it were our true motive.

The problem with that presumed motive is this: many people have stated that they hope to see Hagen behind bars (again), however no one has stated "I hope that by posting here, Hagen will end up behind bars."

In fact, the opinion of the majority of the ex-gatelinx employees I keep in touch with (and myself I must say) is that this is a fun and diverting place to visit. But that ultimately karma (hey, crabman) will catch up with the Hagens no matter what we do.

It also appears that you are beating a dead horse. VSTC is not "rising" from anything - is it?

Well, gee gosh golly Mister, maybe us little whipper-snappers are referring to this post? All the websites were down, now they are kinda back up...rising from the ashes... see... get it... do ya? Huh?

My other point (please don't misconstrue this as "actively hostile") is that you need to build something - anything for your own sanity. It will get your mind off of this terrible situation.

Of course, the unspoken assumptions here are:

1) That none of us are doing anything but sitting in front of our computers crying over Gatelinx and clicking the reload button.

and

2) Here is the start of the implication that somehow we are all unhinged... which you deduce in Dr Phil-like speed without actually knowing any of us. Impressive.

Dispensing with #1 is pretty easy. Fact is that ex-gtx posts irregularly so it his clear that his/she/they are not sitting in front of old files obsessing about GTX/VSTC/ETC. And for myself, unless there is a really good discussion going on I check in about once a week...

In fact, pretty much everyone I knew at Gatelinx has moved on and is doing work that is just as, if not more interesting than what they were doing at GLX. I think the only regret that I've stated or that others have is that we miss working with each other..... For example, anyone who has figured out who I am (or thinks they have), they can probably figure out what I mean when I say: "Gatelinx was great for me, I was able to transition that into working with technologies and development patterns that I'd always wanted to try."

Seriously, you might want to see a therapist if you are having trouble dealing with this.

*YAWN* Typical and boring response in a forum like this. Yes, there has to be something wrong with people who would post to a blog like this. Clearly.

Pappy Anonymous could I sit on your lap while you regale me with stores about your Hard Life(TM)? Maybe I could have some of Grandma Anonymous' cookies when we are done?

Hey, I'm sorry if you've had problems balancing life and work. We all do, that is life in this imperfect world.

Now go back and read my comments in context, I'll wait for you....

Ready? Good. If you're able to must up a 9th grade level of reading comprehension, you should be able to see that I was not asking for your faux sympathy. The poster to whom I was responding had inferred that people here did not know what it took to start a business... He/she was using the "Damn Anti-Business Hippie Freaks" argument that is quite common when trying to defend a company's (or a company's officers) indefensible actions. Of course, in this case , this was patently false. All of the people I worked with were veterans of multiple start-ups. I was using one small piece of
the price that I paid (a full list would take a several hundred page book) in trying to create Gatelinx.

So, I've been on the 'Net since 1990(pre-web, we knew UNIX and we USED it!) and been part of a lot of online groups. (And before that I was really into the BBS scene.) We've seen the blustering "Anti-Business Hippie" attack, the "Grandfatherly Advice" attack. Wonder what will be next, the "It was all a joke"
defense, the "angry/bitter lash out"? Maybe it will be the "I'm the bigger man/woman" attempt (although that almost never works). Personally, I'm betting on either silence or "Indignant Walk Out"

I would say that I'm eager to find out, but I have to say that this site has some of the lowest quality trolls I've ever encountered. C'Mon people, throw your backs into it!

Good luck guys - #12 signing off.
