GTXC and David Hagen...

A recent comment here in this blog (see comments under "GTXC Gatelinx GTX Global, How much longer for the Hagen's?") about David trying to buy the domain "IPTVInc.com" Well, this sparked some thoughts. So I went and did a "whois" search on many things...
First, GTXGlobal.net. In one of the first posts on this blog I asked, "How many websites do these guys have?" From arin/whois...
Server Type: Microsoft-IIS/5.0
IP Address: 66.195.196.62
IP Location: - North Carolina - Monroe - Time Warner Telecom Inc
Response Code: 200
Blacklist Status: Clear (history)
SSL Cert: No valid SSL on this Host
Website Status: Active
Reverse IP: 33 other sites hosted on this server
GTX Global purports to be the "leader in IP Multimedia".. Interesting claim. Given that on the server that GTX Global is hosted on there are also THIRTY THREE other sites! If you're doing the kind of things GTXC claims to be doing, you need mroe space and horespower than 1 (one) IIS server.
But wait, there more... do a "whois" lookup for Gatelinx.com and you see Ivan Ivanov and his company "webcluster" that was the hosting company the gatelinx servers got moved to in late 04 when Rick Stefanik (ex-CTO) was fired and the hosting company that Gatelinx (nee GTXC) was using kicked them out for non-payment. Ivan's address is his companies, not Gatelinx's or GTXC's in Southern Pines.
Name Server: DNS2.GATELINX.COMDomain History
We have recorded 5 Whois changes for gatelinx.com since 2001-11-30.
View them with our Domain History tool.
Whois History: records have been archived
Whois Record
Registrant: Ivan Ivanov 12918 Winget Rd Charlotte, NC 28278-7268 US Domain Name: GATELINX.COM Administrative Contact, Technical Contact, Zone Contact: Ivan Ivanov 12918 Winget Rd Charlotte, NC 28278-7268 US 704-737-5633 704-504-0338 [fax]
Not earth shattering additions to the blog, I know, but more corroboration that whatever the story GTXC is telling, there ain't much truth in it.

you probably pulled the others too. gtxc.org, gtxc.tv, etc.

GTXC.org and GTXC.us have the same IP address as the other GTXGlobal.net IP address and still only 1 server. Could this one server be hosting 33 different version of the GTXC web sites?

GTXC.org
IP Address: 66.195.196.62
IP Location: - North Carolina - Monroe - Time Warner Telecom Inc
Response Code: 200
Blacklist Status: Clear (history)
SSL Cert: No valid SSL on this Host
Website Status: Active
Reverse IP: 33 other sites hosted on this server

GTXC.us
Server Type: Microsoft-IIS/5.0
IP Address: 66.195.196.62
IP Location: - North Carolina - Monroe - Time Warner Telecom Inc
Response Code: 200
Blacklist Status: Clear (history)
SSL Cert: No valid SSL on this Host
Website Status: Active
Reverse IP: 33 other sites hosted on this server

Seems like there's a whole bunch of the same thing going on with these web sites.

you have that right. Same IP Address, hosting location and specs. Other interesting facts from the saem "whois" search are that some of the "vizual corp" (vizualcom.com) people are listed on the GTXC.us, with a registration date of November of 05.

The web of who did what to whom when is clear to those that pay attention. I know the SEC and FBI are.

Mark Twain has a great quote, "If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything."

Clearly, David Hagen and the GTXC gang have been telling so many stories they can't even keep them straight.

Another example is Investrend. (Do a google search for GTXC and look for it) This is clearly a site set up by the pump and dumpers. It's got outdated info (the Yadio merger and board stuff) because they (the GTXC gang) can't keep all their moving parts straight.

That's what happens when you've got a scam running, not a real business.

Ahhhh, glorious IPTV. I remember them, from about late 2002 to sometime in the end of 2003/2004 there were four or five developers running around to create a settop box that would have gatelinx's communicator embedded, and provide on demand movies using a bittorrent like technology. IIRC, they filed for a patent on that, even though in addition to bittorrent, there were several other companies doing exactly the same thing at the time. Yeah, shocking I know...the Hagens trying to cheat the system.

IPTV was one of their "other companies" which meant...well pretty much nothing really. They shared the same resources, network, some personnel, blah, blah, blah. And if IPTV needed something, the anyone on the Gatelinx side had to drop whatever they were doing and go help them. The same story with every other "company" the Hagens ran.

As we all know, they got the settop box communicator working well enough to sell it. (ahem...). But other than that I think all they developed were technology demos. (Unlike the communicator which actually had a beta and worked most of the time, as long as Manning didn't suddenly decide to change something and not tell anyone.)

For example, they had a hacked up webpage that made it look like you could call anyone on your contact list... but all it did was call the home office.

Eventually, somebody came in, said they were buying the company, then hired virtually all the developers who had simultaneously been laid-off by Gatelinx. Then a few months later the Hagens said the deal wasn't to sell the company and that the person was confused, and the deal wasn't to buy the company but to be a channel partner, that all development would continue to be done by Gatelinx (who now had almost no developers). It dissolved into some kind of legal mess along with all the other legal messes that were going on at the time.

Anyway, I told that story to say this: That is when the last IPTV person was sacked, by the person who was "buying" the company. I don't recall them being re-hired, but you can pretty much bet that if they are trying to get an IPTV domain, they are trying to sell the phantom company to someone.

Hey this company your talking about sounds like a total lamo, it's not the same one as atwww.gtxcorp.com or gtxc.biz is it?

No. GTX Corp (who make GPS tracking technologies) is un-related to the Hagens, and their gang, or GTX Global. They, unfortunately, use the same abbreviations for their name (GTXC) so when you google GTXC you also get the GTX Corporation listings as well. ALso, you're right. These guyus (GTXC/GTX Global) are "total lamo"
